How it works

From enquiry to books in families’ hands

Your club adds its details, signs two agreements and approves every page. We make, sell, print and deliver the books, and pay your club a fee for every copy sold.

Watch

The whole process, start to finish

What the book is, who does each step, and how your club is paid. The words are on screen, so it works with the sound off.

The steps

  1. A club officer

    Send us an enquiry

A secretary, chair or other officer tells us about the club. We get in touch and, if the club wants to go ahead, invite you to set up the club’s account.

    • You sign in with a link sent to your email: no password to remember.
  2. Your club

    Add your club’s details

Upload your crest and add your club’s name. For your kit, upload a photo of it, or design it here by choosing its colours and pattern. You check and confirm everything yourself, in one go, and we check it too.

    • You tell us who drew the badge, so the right person gives permission to use it.
  3. Your club’s approver

    Sign the agreements

Sign two documents online: the badge licence, which lets us use your crest only in the book and its shop, and the club agreement, which sets the fee we pay your club and when we pay it.

    • Nothing is made until both are signed.
  4. Us

We build and check every page

We make your club’s book from the story and your confirmed details, then review every page ourselves before your club sees it.

    • Every player is a fictional character in your kit. No photos are used.
  5. Your club’s approver

    Approve the proof

You see the whole book and approve it, or ask for a change. Nothing is sold until your club has approved the book.

  6. Families

    Your club’s shop opens

Your club gets its own shop page in your colours. Parents and carers order there and pay on Stripe’s secure payment page.

    • Each shop page shows the full prices, the order-by date, the delivery date and the fee your club earns from us.
    • Families can add extra copies for grandparents and relatives in the same order.
    • Already have a club shop or website? We’ll give you a ready-made banner and shop card to add to it.
  7. Us

    Printed and delivered

The books go out to families’ homes, or to the club for collection, by the delivery date shown on the shop.

  8. Us

Your club is paid its fee

We pay your club its fee for every copy sold, within the period set in your club agreement, with a statement of what was sold.

For your committee

A one-page summary to take to your committee

Plain words for a committee meeting. It contains no club details, so any officer can share it before the club signs up.

A storybook for our club: what we would be agreeing to

What it is

A children’s picture book made for our club: our club’s name, crest, and kit colours and pattern, with fictional players in our kit. No photos of children are used.

How it works

  • We upload our club details and confirm them ourselves.
  • We sign the badge licence and the club agreement.
  • We approve every page of our book before anything is sold.
  • Our club gets its own shop page. Families buy the book from the company and pay on Stripe’s secure payment page.
  • Books are delivered to homes, or to the club for collection.

What the club signs

  • Badge licence: permission to use our crest in the book. Whoever owns the badge’s copyright gives it, so we need to know who drew it.
  • Club agreement: the fee the company pays our club for every copy sold, and when it pays.

Money

The company sells the book to families. Our club earns a fee from the company for every copy sold. The club does not collect money from parents and does not handle orders. There is no up-front cost to the club for the online shop.

Standard offer as at 19 October 2026. Your club’s agreement sets your actual fee.

  • Fee to the club for every copy sold: £3.00
  • Price to families, collected at the club: £16.99
  • Price to families, delivered to their home: £20.49

Safeguarding

  • Fictional characters only. No photos of children, no children’s names.
  • Parents give only their own details when they order. The club never receives parents’ payment details.

What the club must not do

  • Take cash or payment for the book, or place orders for parents.
  • Change or remove the statement of the club’s fee that appears on the shop and on any material about the book.
  • Email or message parents about the book unless they agreed to receive club news; otherwise post it publicly.

Next step: an officer makes an enquiry at our enquiry page.
