For grassroots football clubs

Your club, in a storybook.

A picture book in your club’s colours, starring fictional players. Families order from your club’s own shop, and your club earns a fee from us for every copy sold.

Who’s Coaching the Grown-Ups? in the colours of four fictional clubs, with a different badge and kit for each edition. Sample covers; your club approves its own artwork.

Watch

The whole process, start to finish

What the book is, who does each step, and how your club is paid. The words are on screen, so it works with the sound off.

What your club can count on

Four promises your committee can hold us to

  • You approve every page

We check every page first. Then your committee sees the whole book, and nothing goes on sale until you approve it.

  • Fictional players in your kit

Every character in the book is made up and wears your club’s colours. No children’s photos or details needed.

  • No up-front cost for your shop

Families buy the book from us, through your club’s own shop page.

If your committee buys copies as a gift, that is the club’s own purchase.
  • We handle the rest

Printing, payment and delivery are ours. Books go to families’ homes, or to the club for collection.

Made for your club

Every club’s book looks like that club

Your club’s name, your crest, and your kit colours and pattern. Two clubs in the same colours still look different, because the kit pattern is part of the design.

The game plan

From enquiry to books on the pitch

  1. Enquire

A club officer, such as the secretary or chair, sends us an enquiry.

  2. Add your details

Upload your crest and club name, and a photo of your kit or a kit you design. You confirm it all in one go.

  3. Sign the agreements

Sign the badge licence and the club agreement online.

  4. Approve every page

We check every page, then your committee approves the proof of your club’s book.

  5. Your shop opens

Families order from your club’s own shop page, and the books go to their homes or to the club.

Your club’s own shop

A shop page in your colours, for parents and carers

Each club gets its own shop page. This is what families see:

  1. The cover and sample pages of your approved book
  2. Both prices in full: collect at the club, or delivered to the home
  3. The order-by date and the delivery date
  4. A clear statement of the fee your club earns from us
  • PaymentParents pay on Stripe’s secure pageCard details are entered on Stripe’s payment page and do not pass through our servers.
  • PrivacyNo trackingNo advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party scripts on the shop.
  • OrderingCopies for the whole familyFamilies can add extra copies for grandparents and relatives in the same order.

How your club earns

A fee from us for every copy sold

We sell the book to families, and we pay your club a fee for every copy sold.

  • Your club’s agreement sets the fee and when we pay it.
  • Every shop page states the fee, so families know what the club earns.
  • No minimum number of books: copies are printed to order.

Take it to your next committee meeting

Send us an enquiry and we will get in touch to talk it through.
